I’ve been seeing the Colleen Hoover books EVERYWHERE. I gave in and read ‘It Ends With Us’. I have been trying to get into reading again and this book may have done the trick. I read it over a course of 3 days – easily could have knocked out in 2. I didn’t love the book, but I didn’t hate it. Some parts got hard to read, but overall I liked it.
I don’t get the Colleen Hoover hype. I believe most people seem to going through so many of her books quickly is because they are easy readers. In my opinion, the chapters were short. A few pages and I was onto the next chapter. Which in my mind helped me feel like I was making good progress and tricked my mind to keep going.
When I purchased ‘It Ends With Us’, I also bought ‘November 9’ – so that’s 2 CoHo (lovingly calling her that) books I have committed to reading. IEWU does have a sequel that recently came out. I don’t know if I’ll publicly put myself on the hook for a 3rd, but we’ll see.
Sooooo overall -Colleen Hoover isn’t the GOAT (as people very loosely say nowadays). I can’t comment on her subject matter because I’ve only read 1 book thus far. Again, didn’t love it nor hate it. Just kinda meh. I would recommend to read it if you were into YA romance type of books.
